Warren - Mandie A. Hewitt, 21, of High St., died Friday, March 6, 2015 after being stricken ill at her home.
She leaves her mother, Patricia A. Smith of Warren; her father, Michael P. Hewitt of Ware; her maternal grandfather, William Smith of Warren; her paternal grandmother, Lorraine Sanfford of Dundee, FL; aunts and uncles, Barbara Olearczyk, Bill Smith, Russell Smith and Edward Hewitt; a niece Kristina Trikas and many cousins and friends. She was born and grew up in Ware before moving to Warren. She attended Ware High School and went on to earn her GED and her goal was to go to college to become a counselor.
Mandie was a dietary aid at the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.
A Funeral Mass for Mandie will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM in St. Paul's Church in Warren and everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be in the spring in St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren.
