Ware---Marcel N. Bienvenu 58,of 115 East St. passed away on July 4th. He leaves his wife of nearly 25 years, Cheryl (Corrow) Bienvenu, his sisters Jocelyn Barbeau of Ware and Odette Verrier of Plattsburg NY, a brother Pierre, 4 nephews, Jean and Marcel Verrier and Christopher and Eric Bienvenu, and 2 great nieces Cassidy and Juliana Bienvenu. He was born in Ware son of Marcel and Rhea Bienvenu and was a longtime Warren resident before coming to Ware. Marcel was a 26 year veteran of the US Air Force and Air National Guard. He served his country during the Vietnam War, Desert Storm and the Bosnian Conflict. He worked as a machine operator for Flexcon of Spencer. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10am at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to The Wounded Warrior Fund.
