Margery "Midge" Lefevre

Margery  "Midge" (Young)   Lefevre, of  New Braintree, was called home to her Heavenly Father on Nov. 21, 2016. She was born on July 4, 1922 to Ralph and Mabel Young of Barre Plains MA. She graduated from Barre High School and Worcester Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing. For over 23 years she worked as  a R.N. at Mary Lane Hospital , retiring in 1986. Midge was a loving and caring mother, Gram, and  friend always thinking of others. Everyone enjoyed her baking talent and generosity. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1988. She leaves six children; Dwight and his wife JoAnne of Louisville KY, Ralph and his wife Sandy of North Brookfield, Jeannine of Portland ME, Gary and his fiancée Dina of New Braintree, Alan and his wife Darlene of Ware and Duane and his husband John of Boston. She leaves 10 grandchildren; Christopher, Craig, Chad, Steven, Jason, Nicholas, Kyle, Mary, Rachel and Eric. A grandson Timothy predeceased her in 2011. She also leaves 6 great grandchildren, as well as her brother Gordon and wife Barbara of Barre. Her brother Ralph predeceased her. Midge was a communicant of St. Aloysius Church in Gilbertville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday Nov. 26th  at 10 am in St. Aloysius Church. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in New Braintree. Calling Hours will be held on Friday Nov. 25th from 4 to 7 pm at the Charbonneau Funeral Home , 30 Pleasant St. in Ware MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Braintree Senior Center, 20 Memorial Dr. New Braintree MA 01531.
