Ware - Marguerite "Peggy" Moulton, 89 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Brookhaven Assisted Care in West Brookfield.
She was born on June 14, 1927 to the late William and Marguerite (Fleurent) King and was a longtime resident of Ware. She was employed as a floor supervisor at the former Ware Shoe Company. Peggy loved to travel, especially to the beach and she had a passion for the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed hosting and attending family functions where her delicious baked goods were always front and center. Peggy graduated from Ware High School and was a member of the former Golden Ages and was a parishioner of All Saints Church.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Herbert K. Moulton and a brother William King. Peggy leaves behind her daughter Linda Dansereau and her husband David of Ware; her son, Wayne Moulton and his wife Daphne of Lakeville; her grandson, Christopher Moulton and his wife Jill of Tyngsboro; her granddaughter, Lisa Dufault and her husband Jason of Holliston; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Julia, Tinsley, Benjamin and Chelsea; a sister, Estelle Comeau; a brother-in-law, Charles Moulton and many beloved nieces and nephews.
There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial in All Saints Church in Ware on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM at Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware. Burial will be in New St. Williams Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the All Saints Church, 17 North St., Ware, MA 01082 or to the Central MA Hospice, 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn, MA 01501.
