Springfield - Marie G. (Moriarty) Nadeau, 89, formerly of Springfield died peacefully in the presence of her daughters, Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Quaboag Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.

She leaves three daughters, Nancy Devine and her husband David of Wakefield, RI, Kathleen Angilly and her husband Richard and Mary Dudula and her husband Peter of West Brookfield;

nine grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Luke, Mary, William, John, Timothy, Jennifer and Molly and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Wilfred J. Nadeau, Jr. and five siblings.  He was truly the love of her life and considered herself blessed every day. She was born and grew up in Springfield, daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Welch) Moriarty and lived there before moving to Rhode Island in 1999.

Marie was a devoted Catholic who had a great love for our Lord. She prayed the rosary every day and attended Mass almost daily. She loved her husband and 3 girls above all else but always felt her greatest gifts in life were her close relationships with her grandchildren. They all adored her. She loved spending time with family and friends and looked for any opportunity to have a celebration of life with them. A smile came to her easily and she was loved by everyone...a true gift to this world!
