Fiskdale - Marie R. (Gratton) Rouisse, 83, of Fiskdale died on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Harrington Memorial Hospital.
She leaves her son, Allen R. Kondrat and his wife Emily of Warren; her daughter, Traci M. Hackney of Texas; a sister, Doris Lemay of West Brookfield; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Armand, Roland, Albert, and Freddy Gratton. She was born in West Brookfield, daughter of the late Albert and Rose (LaFlamme) Gratton and lived in West Brookfield for over 20 years, before moving to Fiskdale 10 years ago.
Marie worked as a Police Officer for the Town of West Brookfield for 21 years, and also was a machine operator at the former Ludlow Paper Company, before retiring in 2017. She was an auxiliary member of the Adams-Cooney-Frew American Legion Post 244 in West Brookfield.
Calling hours for Marie will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 6 to 8PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
