Obituary

Marilyn L. Lamb, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family.

She will be deeply missed by her devoted sons, Michael Lamb and his wife Karen of Brookfield, and Jeffrey Lamb and his wife Brenda of Winthrop, Maine. Marilyn was a cherished grandmother to Robert Lamb and his wife Michelle, proud great‑grandmother to Grayson, and loving grandmother to Jeffrey Lamb and his wife Lynsie. She is also fondly remembered by her step‑grandchildren David Prior and his wife Nicole, and Jacob Prior, and her step great‑grandchildren Addison and Aiden Prior. Marilyn also leaves behind her beloved sisters Barbara Potter and Linda Dumas and her husband Richard, her brother Richard Floury, and many nieces and nephews who held her close to their hearts.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Roger, her brother William Floury, and her infant grandson Michael Anthony, whom she now joyfully meets for the first time.

Marilyn was born on June 25, 1938, in Ware, to the late Ralph and Florence (Carbonneau) Floury. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, and friend, Marilyn’s life was centered around her family. Her home was a gathering place for tradition and love, especially during the annual family picnics she and Roger hosted—events she truly treasured.

She retired from Warren Laundry to dedicate herself fully to her role as homemaker and caregiver, first to her great‑nieces and nephews and later to her two grandsons. Marilyn never missed a school play or a baseball or basketball game. Each Memorial Day, she faithfully visited her grandson Michael, bringing flowers or a small toy—an act of love she performed quietly, as she did all things. Humble and generous, she never sought recognition for her kindness.

A devout Catholic throughout her life, Marilyn also knew how to enjoy herself. She loved trips to the casino with her sisters, bus adventures with her lifelong friend Barbara, Saturday night domino games with her siblings and niece Audra, visits with her son and daughter‑in‑law in Maine, and cherished trips to Moosehead Lake.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38142.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Marilyn will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Parish in West Warren followed by a burial in St. Paul Cemetery in Warren.
