Marion  F.  Soltys

1916-2013



Ware-Marion (Dunbar) Soltys, 96, passed away at Quaboag on the Common, on April 7, 2013.She was born in Ware on Dec. 24, 1916 daughter of the late Fred and Maude ( Smith) Dunbar. She will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the beloved  wife of the late Michael Soltys who died in 2003. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Donna Prescott and her husband Malcolm of Ware, her son Archie Soltys of West Brookfield. She also leaves her grandchildren Todd Prescott and Shelley and Chad Soltys, and her two great grandchildren Matthew and  Brooke, her brother Arthur of Belchertown and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister Evelyn and her six brothers. She was a member of the United Church of Ware, and belonged to the Friendship Circle. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday April 12th at 10am  in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made in her name to the United Church of Ware. Marion's family wishes to thank all the staff at Quaboag for their great care, and to the activity groups, coffee club and all the friends she had there.
