Mary R. Ouellette

Mary Rose (Lucia) Pierce Ouellette, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on December 11th ,2013 at the age of 89.Rose was born on Sept. 6th , 1924 and lived most of her life in Springfield, and then in Ware with her daughter Debra and son-in-law Camille. Rose was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Michelina (Maruca) Lucia, her first husband Raymond D. Pierce, who passed in 1959, and her second husband, Louis A. Ouellette who passed in 1990, her youngest son Frank Ouellette, along with her brothers Joseph, Anthony, Frank,& Peter Lucia, her sisters Frances Placanico and Rita Ouellette. She was a loving mother to Gary T. Pierce Sr. and his wife Theresa of Southwick, Judith (Pierce) and her husband Steven Kline of Highland Village TX, and Debra (Pierce) and her husband Camille Cote of Ware, as well as to  her 3 stepchildren Raymond and James Pierce and Marylin (Pierce) Caldwell, and to her daughter-in-law Barbara, she is also survived by her sister Florence Sinkiewicz of Greensboro NC.
Rose is lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, Thomas, Lawrence, Robert and Daniel Fitzgerald and their spouses, Tracy Kelley, Gary T. Pierce Jr. and their spouses, Jason Kline and Krysten  Daniel and spouses,  Robert and Andrew Cote and Cheryl Bennett-Delong and spouses and Bryan and Eric Ouellette. She was also  beloved great-grandmother of 8, Blake, Bryant, Coby, Logan ,Natalie Rose, John, Jordan and Seth. She also leaves 1 great -great granddaughter Arianna and 1 greatgrandson "Baby Pierce" who would have met "Nana" in January. She was loved by many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family, for her warm outgoing personality and her ability to always make people laugh and smile. She will be missed by many, but her spirit will always be alive through her family. Forever in our hearts "Ma", "Rosie , "Nana". Many thanks to all her care givers over the last few years. Your love and support is greatly appreciated. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Dec. 14th  , from the Charbonneau Funeral Home 30 Pleasant St. with a Mass at 10am in All Saints Church, North St, both in Ware. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Tinkham Rd. in Springfield. Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 pm.
