Worcester - Maurice C. Valois of Worcester passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at UMass Memorial Medical Center of Worcester.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Alina Mazerant of Worcester. Maurice is also survived by brothers, Armand of West Brookfield, Ronald and wife Estelle of Indian Orchard, Gerard of Warren, Paul of New York; and his sisters, Yvette Morin and husband Donald of Warren and Marie O'Keefe of Warren. He is predeceased by his brothers, Lucien and Jean Valois. Maurice was born on September 23, 1953 in Ware to the late Didace J. and Marie A. (Boucher) Valois.
Maurice made his career as a medical instrument technician, in which he absolutely loved. He also had a great hunger for good polish food and going out to eat to restaurants. Even though his thick hair was cut shorter in recent days, in his younger years, he had hair past his waist as he ventured to iconic events, such as Woodstock. Maurice had a contagious smile and simply made people happy by just being in the room.
A graveside service will take place at St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren on July 15th, 2022 at 1:30pm.
