Michelle Jacques (Guimond) 59, passed away early evening on Tuesday, May 17th 2016 after her long and courageous battle with sarcoidosis. Born in Ware, MA where she was a lifelong resident, Michelle was known for her bright spirit, warm heart and kind soul. She enjoyed serving her customers at Friendly's and Country Bank. All who knew and loved her will miss her vibrancy, ability to light up the room, and her delicious baked treats. She loved spending time with her family and friends, hosting family gatherings, attending sporting events, concerts, and recitals. She also enjoyed vacationing in Maine and spending time at the beach. She will be especially remembered for her generosity, as her door was always open and a seat was always available at her dinner table. Michelle was predeceased by her parents Valmore and Betty Guimond, and brother Donald. Michelle was a loving and devoted wife of Alan for 25 years. She will also be dearly missed by her children Daniel and wife Jill, Rebecca and her friend Rufus, and Heather and her husband Chad; her five cherished grandchildren Cory, Kaylee, Abigail, Parker and Jack; her beloved brothers and sisters: sister and caregiver Gloria and husband Michael, Sr. Betty, Barbara, Jerry and wife Nancy, Susan and husband Tony, Richard and wife Barbara, Michael and wife Maryann, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. The family would like to thank and acknowledge all of her doctors, nurses, caregivers, and therapists who have treated Michelle over the years. They especially want to thank her homecare nurse and friend Sue Teczar whose loving care and friendship was a comfort during her toughest times. Family and friends are welcome to join in the celebration of Michelle's life. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 22 from 3-6 pm at Charbonneau Funeral Home in Ware.
