Ware - Nancy F. (DeForge) Curylo, 74, of Ware died on Monday, October 22, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She leaves her husband of 55 years, John J. Curylo; three sons, Paul Curylo and his wife Karen, John J. Curylo, Jr., and Steven Curylo and his wife Tina, all of Ware; her daughter, Angela Curylo and her fiancè Roy Foster of Three Rivers; 11 grandchildren, Mark Baldwin, Alicia Mitchell, Tiffany Curylo, Zachary Curylo, Brandon Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Ryon Foster, Devin Foster, Joshua Foster, Keith Wells, and Shawn Wells; eight great-grandchildren, Cameron Mitchell, Sophie Mitchell, Amelia Baldwin, Natalie Girard, Emma Girard, Aaron Wells, Jocelyn Wells, and Lucas Wells; her brother, Joseph DeForge, her son-in-law, Charles Thompson, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer J. (Curylo) Thompson, as well as her brother, William DeForge. She was born in Ludlow, daughter of the late Earl and Sophie (Arnaud) DeForge, and has lived in Ware for almost 50 years.
Nancy enjoyed cooking and baking. She made delicious golumbkis, sugar cookies, and date nut bread, along with many other treats. She loved large family get togethers and BBQ's, her cats, feeding the humming birds, lighthouses, and the solemnness of the beach and the ocean waves. She also enjoyed being able to watch and baby sit her grandchildren. Along with John, she volunteered as "Gramma Pickle" for several years in Clowning for Kidz, a group dedicated to the mission of meeting the needs of children.
A Funeral Service for Nancy will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00am in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St, in Ware. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Clowning for Kidz Foundation, P.O. Box 286, West Warren, MA 01092.
