Neil A. Gage, Sr.

WARE - Neil A. Gage, Sr., 77, of Ware, died on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Baystate Wing Hospital.
Devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he leaves his wife of 60 years, Mary Sullivan Gage; his children, Neil A. Gage, Jr., Susan Denis, Marc Gage and his wife Anne, and Tricia Bonifacio and her husband Mark. He was predeceased by his son David Gage. In addition, he leaves behind eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was born in Clinton, one of six children of the late Edwin G. and Bernice Quimby Gage. He lived in Ware for 48 years.
Mr. Gage was a self-employed Design Engineer before retiring in 2007.
Neil enjoyed golfing with his late brother Edwin, dancing with his favorite partner, playing card and board games, and maintaining his yard for the pleasure of hosting competitive wiffle ball games with his grandchildren. Neil was all about family, all of whom he loved dearly.
A Funeral Service for Neil will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. Calling hours will be held from 9:30 to 11:00AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Stroke Association, 300 5th Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham MA 02451 or by visiting www.strokeassociation.org
