Patricia A. Brown, 79
Brookfield / North Brookfield - Patricia A. (Heath) Brown, 79, of First Street, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2016 in Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
She leaves her loving husband of 58 years, David Brown; two sons, David S. Brown and his wife Christine of Sturbridge, and Douglas A. Brown and his wife Donna of Brookfield; her daughter, Jennifer Huard Wadsworth and her husband Dale of New Braintree; nine grandchildren, Lyndsay, Matthew, Emily and her husband Chris, Valerie, Dakota, Dominic, Victoria, Taylor, and Deanna; two great grandchildren, Ayva, and Brady and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Heath and a granddaughter, Allison. Patricia was born and grew up in Sherman, Maine, daughter of the late Walter and Velma (Buzzell) Heath. She and David lived in North Brookfield for close to 50 years prior to moving to Brookfield in 2005.
Pat was a payroll clerk at Norton Co., and was a cafeteria worker at the North Brookfield Middle and High Schools for 9 years. She also worked for Catholic Charities as a Home Health Aide. For the past 20 years, she and David spent their winters in Zephyrhills, Florida, making many new friends there. Pat was an avid golfer, and loved to play often, but her most cherished times were spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church of North Brookfield.
A Graveside Service for Patricia will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery in North Brookfield in the spring. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brookfield Rescue Squad, 4 Central St., Brookfield, MA 01506, or the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, c/o VNA Care Network & Hospice, Development Office, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923-1388 or vnacarenetwork.org.
