Paul James Champagne

July 23, 1947 — June 19, 2015

Ware-Paul  James  Champagne, 67, passed away at home on June 19, 2015. He was born in Cody Wyoming to Paul E. and Ellen (Bolger) Champagne, and spent most of his life residing in Ware. He graduated from Ware High School in 1965. Paul was a decorated Vietnam Veteran proudly serving in the US Army from 1967 to 1973. He will always be remembered for not being "Fonda Hanoi Janes". Paul worked as an X-Ray Technologist most recently at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital, retiring in 2014. Paul leaves behind his wife Joann, sons Aaron and his wife Jen, Jacob Champagne, a daughter Jaime Champagne, a sister Lillian Holden and her husband Charlie, his grandchildren Hunter, Harper and Reece Champagne, nephews Glen, Jay, and Josh Holden, and niece Amber Muller. He was predeceased by a brother Michael. Paul was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, whose greatest joy was his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love of family. Services will be private and held at his family's convenience.
