West Brookfield – Paul D. Guntor, 73, of West Brookfield, died on Monday morning, March 3, 2025, in his home with his wife by his side.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Sema A. (Broman) Guntor; two sons, Michael Gunter of Chicopee, and Eric Guntor of Philadelphia as well as his siblings, Susan Kulis of Texas, Robin Bennett of Florida, April Dimauro of Spencer, Patty Carlson of Brookfield, Butchy Guntor of Barre and Keven Guntor of Sturbridge. He was predeceased by his sister, Patty Carlson in 2019. He was born in Ware, son of the late William and Vivian (Goodwin) Gunter, and grew up in North Brookfield.
Paul worked as a machine operator for 49 years at Flexcon in Spencer. Despite his liver cancer, he was still working up until a few weeks ago.
Paul and Sema could often be seen together. She loved him more than anything in the world. They would say that to each other every day, and he will be deeply missed.
At his request, funeral services will be held privately at a later date.
