Ware - Paul Francis Kszaszcz, 86, of Ware, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 18, 2026, in the home he built in 1961. Born August 21,1939, he was a lifetime resident of Ware. He was the son of the late Ignacy (Ed) and Irene Kszaszcz. Paul attended Ware schools until he went to Springfield Trade High School to learn machining. He had a successful career as a Tool and Dye Maker. His children often referred to him as MacGyver, as there was nothing that he could not fix.
At an early age, Paul learned to play the drums and even gave lessons. He spent decades playing with polka bands including Happy Louie and many other local bands. He spent many years helping make golumpki and pierogi for the St. Mary’s food sales. Paul loved to polka dance, go to the beach, play cards and travel. He was a storyteller and could talk for hours reminiscing. He loved to joke and make people smile. No matter what life threw at him, he kept a positive outlook on life.
Paul leaves behind his 4 children. Paula and her husband Jim St. Pierre, Christine Juda, Theresa Kszaszcz and Michael and his wife Danielle Kszaszcz. He has 5 grandchildren, Ashley Juda and her partner Ian, Allyson and her husband Garrett Ostiguy, Courtney St. Pierre, Megan Kszaszcz and Nathan Kszaszcz. He also has a great-granddaughter on the way. Paul also leaves behind his longtime companion, Rose Marie Murphy and her family, Rick Murphy, Mikey and her husband Eddie Tapanes and their 3 daughters.
