Spencer - Pearl A. (Gelineau) Beland, 96 of Franklin St., died Friday, May 15, 2015 in Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.
She leaves her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Beland of West Brookfield; four grandchildren, Jason Beland and his wife Melissa and Justin Beland and his wife Taryn of Virginia, Stacie Beland and her husband Mark Axelson of Spencer and Jessie Beland of Easthampton; six great-grandchildren, Maari, Jake, Abby, Elizabeth, Hilde, and Joshua and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Ernest Beland, her son Richard E. Beland and a brother, Edward Gelineau. She was born in Spencer, daughter of the late Charles A. and Corinne (Bouley) Gelineau and was a lifelong resident of Spencer.
Pearl was an active member of Mary Queen of the Rosary Church in Spencer.
A Funeral Mass for Pearl will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Mary Queen of the Rosary Church in Spencer and everyone is asked to go directly to the church. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Webster. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
