Ware - Rachel E. Sorel, 100, of Ware died peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.
She leaves her two sisters, Madeline Cebula and Sylvia Demaio and her brother, Edward Sorel as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her seven siblings; Roland, Bernard and Raymond Sorel, Cecile Chapdelaine, Yvonne Vadnais, Lorraine Forgit and Claire Charbonneau. She was born in Ware, the daughter of the late, Edmond and Lucia (Roy) Sorel.
Rachel worked at American Athletic Shoe and Co. in manufacturing for many years before she retired.
She loved going to tag sales, collecting puzzles, music boxes, record albums and jewelry.
She was a former member of Mount Carmel Church and a member of All Saints Church as well as a lifelong resident of Ware.
A Graveside Service for Rachel will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1:30PM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
