Ralph R. Young, Jr.

Ware - Ralph R.Young, 64, of Ware, died on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his home.

He leaves his wife of 42 years, Patricia A. (Howe) Young; their son, Mark and his companion Alyse Mokrzycki; six grandchildren, Ayden Young, Tanya Gaskins, Schayleigh Young, Averie Young, Layce Mancuso, and Easton Langlois. He also leaves his brothers, Patrick, John, and Kenneth Young, all of Idaho.  He was predeceased by his daughter Rebecca, just a year ago to the day, that he died, as well as his sister, Kathleen Sicard. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Conway) Young.

Ralph grew up in Idaho, and was a veteran of the United State Army enlisting at the age of 17.

He worked as a Corrections Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for several years.

In his spare time, Ralph enjoyed playing cards with friends as well as hunting and fishing.  He loved his large family of grandchildren.
