Brookfield - Raymond J. Kelly, 78, of Brookfield died peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Harrington Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his loving wife, Leona R. Kelly; his three children, Michael and his wife Dr. Naveet Marwaha, Toni and David Mitchell and Eric and Karen Hytnen; his sister Nancy Ziak and her husband Bob of North Brookfield as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his three sisters. He was born in Spencer, son of the late Raymond A. Kelly and Doris (Lachambre) Nugent.
Raymond worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at several nursing facilities in the area before his retirement.
Raymond loved being outdoors, no matter the weather, he was outside doing something. He enjoyed fishing and cookouts with the family.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2:00pm in Brookfield Cemetery, West Main Street in Brookfield. There are no Calling Hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY, 10016 or www.kidney.org .
Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
