Ware---Raymond A."Rainbo" Richard, 66, passed away on August 2nd in Baystate Medical Center. Raymond was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member and Past-Commander of Ware American Legion Post 123. Ray was a former member of the Ware Police Dept. He was a member and Past-President of the Apsen St. Rod & Gun Club. An avid card player he enjoyed playing cards at Gabe's and the Weir River Social Club. He was a retired truck driver for VanPak.
Born in Sommerville , he was a longtime Ware resident and had also lived in Brookfield. He was the son of Dolores (Boulay) Richard of Ware and the late Louis Richard. Besides his mother he leaves his children Steven in the Phillipines, Diane Cantwell of Ware, Bobbi Jo Shays of Worcester and Elaine Harnois of Warren his sister Louise Gendreau and her husband Curtis of Chicopee, as well as 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandchild. All may gather on Saturday Aug.10 at 10am at All Saints Church, North for a Funeral Mass. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St.
