West Brookfield - Regina (LaPointe) Rodeen, 62, of West Brookfield, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at her home.
She leaves her sons, Adam R. Rodeen of West Brookfield and Thomas J. Rodeen of Philadelphia; her daughter, Megan R. Rodeen of Belchertown; her siblings, Alcide, Joseph, and Adrian LaPointe; her sisters, Anna, Yvette and Claudette LaPointe; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas P. Rodeen in 2002, as well as by her brother, George. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Alcide and Regina (Corbin) LaPointe.
Regina grew up in Charter Oak Terrace before she met her husband, Thomas. They moved to West Brookfield Massachusetts where she devoted her life to raising her three children. When she wasn't out on family trips with her husband and children, she was in her vegetable garden. She also loved growing flowers and gardening was one of her favorite pastimes. Regina was a loving and caring grandmother who cherished her grandchildren. She took great pride in her grandchildren. In her later years, spending time with all her children and grandchildren was her favorite thing to do.
A Funeral Mass for Regina will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 10AM in Sacred Heart Church, 22 West Main St. in West Brookfield. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 2 to 4PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield. Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.
