New Braintree---Richard Alan Clark,69, passed away peacefully at home with his family, on Sept. 8, 2015, after a long illness. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years Mary Lou Clark, his three daughters; Cheryl (Clark) Duda and her husband Michael of Spencer, Kathleen (Clark) Morin and her husband Scott of New Braintree, and Holly Clark and her fiancé William Thurlow of Barre. He also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren; Matthew, Rachel and Jessica Duda and Benjamin and Hannah Morin. He also is survived by his sister Sandra Quink and her family of Belchertown, and sisters-in-law Carol Mirable and family of Florida and Patricia Doyle and family of Chicopee. Rick worked for 36 years at Cascade Diamond in Thorndike until its closing. Rick graduated from the Electrician's Program at Baron Institute in Windsor CT, and went on to work for IPG Photonics in Oxford MA, before retiring. He was an avid card player and truly enjoyed trips to Foxwoods. He loved all kinds of games and enjoyed challenging his grandsons to a game of chess. He enjoyed the outdoors, always riding his ATV or fishing. Rick's easy going personality and wit will be forever remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10am in St. Aloysius Church, in Gilbertville. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday from 8 to 9:30 am at the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware.
