Richard A. "Richie" Buzzell
October 3, 1935 — July 23, 2021
Richard A. "Richie" Buzzell, 85, passed away at home on Friday, July 23, 2021, after loving care from his wife and Jewish Hospice Home Care, from bladder cancer.
He leaves his devoted wife of nearly 60 years, Catherine R. (Stelmokas) Buzzell; his daughter, Pamela Marquis of Brimfield, and his son, Arnie R. Buzzell of Charlton. He alos leaves his grandchildren, Ethan Prentiss, Olivia Prentiss Wilson, and Colin Marquis. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Ralph, Robert, and Roger, and five sisters, Rebecca Tamm, Faye Hissim, Lucia Jones, Ruth Buzzell, and Pauline Deas. He was born in Ware, son of the late Paul G. and Louise H. (Gaylord) Buzzell.
Richard graduated from Warren High School in 1953. He worked at Valley Motor Sales in Ware for 30 years as an Automotive Repair Technician, and then at Lamoureux Ford in East Brookfield for 17 years before retiring in 2000.
He was a long-time member of the George Whitefield United Methodist Church in West Brookfield.
At his request, funeral services for Rich will be held privately.
