Ware - Rita E. (Chabot) Edwards, 96, of Ware died on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her four sons, Adonis P. Edwards, Raymond L. Edwards, Frank L. Edwards, Jr., and James T. Edwards and his wife Jessica all of Ware; one brother, Robert Chabot of Florida; four grandchildren Amanda Courchesne and her husband Eric of Ware, Caryn Edwards of Ware, Frank Edwards and his wife Emily of Ware, and Kimberly Edwards and her fiance John of Ware and 8 great-grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by her husband Frank L. Edwards, Sr. in 1969. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Leo and Florence Chabot.
Rita was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family. She enjoyed shopping and playing with her grandchildren.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery in Spencer where she will spend eternity with her husband Frank.
Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
