Dudley / West Brookfield - Rita I. Morrisseau, 76, of Dudley died on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Harrington Healthcare at Webster following a period of declining health.
She leaves three sisters, Anne M. Snow of Spencer, Doris Dufault and her husband Richard of Shrewsbury, and Marianne Carter of Florida; three brothers, Lionel "DD" Morrisseau of Tennessee, and Robert and Albert Morrisseau of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her former long time caregivers, Jean and David Carrington of West Brookfield and many friends. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Lionel G. and Luciene (Rouleau) Morrisseau.
Rita attended the Center of Hope Program in Southbridge. She enjoyed playing board games and cards, as well as watching movies and Animal Planet on televison, and playing pool.
A Memorial Mass for Rita will be held on May 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Anne's Church, 16 Church Street, Fiskdale, MA 01518. Everyone is asked to meet at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
