Robert B. Aitchison, 72
Warren - Robert B. Aitchison, 72, of Brimfield Rd., died Friday, February 21, 2014 at his home.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Cynthia F. (Dolen) Aitchison; three daughters, Heather A. Aitchison of Warren, Jaime M. Tenney and her husband Danny of Rindge, NH and Holly E. Aitchison of Warren; four grandchildren, Alex, Skyler, Robert G. and Carman and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Mount Kisco, NY son of the late Robert and Isabelle (Daniels) Aitchison and grew up and lived in Falmouth and later lived in North Brookfield before moving to Warren in 1964.
Mr. Aitchison worked for almost 50 years as a machine operator for the Gavitt Wire & Cable Co. before retiring in 2007.
He was a member of the Quaboag Lodge of Masons in Warren and was a former member of the Warren Fire Department and Police Department.
Funeral Services will be held privately. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Warren Fire Department Ambulance, P.O. Box 608, Warren, MA 01083. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
