Robert H. Millier, 77
Brookfield - Robert H. Millier, 77, of Surrey Lane, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in Baystate Mary Lane Hospital in Ware.
He leaves two sons, Thomas Millier and his wife Maria of Hardwick and Randy Millier of West Springfield; one daughter, Bonnie Ann Dupell of Gilbertville and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. His wife of 27 years, Shirley M. (Brouillard) Millier died in 2005. He was born and grew up in Ware, son of the late Henry and Stephanie (Ciejka) Millier and later lived in Warren and then West Warren for 18 years before moving to Brookfield in 2007.
Mr. Millier worked at Warren Pumps for 19 years as a machinist, pump operator and then supervisor and then worked for 6 years as a mechanic at the former Hardwick Knitted Fabrics in West Warren before retiring in 2001.
Robert served his community and country in the Army National Guard of Massachusetts.
Funeral Services for Robert will be held privately and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. There are no calling hours. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
