NORTH BROOKFIELD - Robert A. Papineau, 85, passed away on December 22, 2022, at UMass in Worcester after declining health.
Born on March 8, 1937 to John and Delia (Thibodeau) Papineau in Franklin, MA. Bob leaves his wife of 63 years, Ella (Legare); daughters Debra Paquette of North Brookfield; Sandra (Gerard) McNeil of Valley Stream, NY; Marcia (Wesley) Anderson of New Braintree; 6 grandchildren, Andrew Paquette, Krista Paquette, Harry McNeil, Jakob Anderson, Kjersten Anderson, Lukas Anderson. He was predeceased by son-in-law Richie Paquette; siblings John, Norman, Bernard, Ronald, Allen, and Barbara.
Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather; family was everything to him. He was kind, gentle, and selfless. He loved spending time with his family, hearing about his grandchildren's lives, and watching his New England sports teams, especially the Red Sox.
A service will be held in the spring with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, North Brookfield.
