Robert A. Piche

Ware - Robert A. "Bob" Piche, 82, of South Street, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Massachusetts in Ludlow.



Bob leaves his loving wife of 63 years, Elaine M. (Demers) Piche; three children, Joanne Ollson and her husband John of Enfield, Pamela McCarthy and her husband John of South Hadley, and Glenn Piche of Ware; four grandchildren, Dominic DeSantis and his wife Naomi of Towson, MD, Lauren DeSantis of Ware, Jesse Risciotti of Enfield, CT, Zach Risciotti of Ware; many nieces and nephews; and one great-grandchild, Gianna Marie DeSantis of Towson, MD.



Bob was born in Ware, the son of the late Leon and Aurora (LaCroix) Piche, and was a life-long resident of Ware. He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine and his brother Edward.



Bob owned and operated an appliance repair business for over 40 years, working right up until just 6 weeks ago. He was an avid coin collector, and ardent fan of the New York Yankees.



At Bob's request, services will be held privately, and there are no calling hours.  Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting his family with arrangements. The family requests that any donations be made in Bob's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
