Brimfield - Robert E. Piper, 83, of Brimfield, and formally of Farmington, NM, died on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves his loving wife of 55 years, Judy A. (Kinser) Piper; a daughter, Kele K. Piper and her husband Javier Chung, with whom he lived; his son, Michael A. Piper and his wife Tara of Washington state; his grandchildren, Joshua Echols and his wife Amber, Tristan Piper, Isabel Batchelor, and Armando and Connie Chung; his great granchildren Cassie Piper and Kinlee Echols, and one sister, Virginia Nichelson in New Mexico. He was born in Springfield, IL, son of Burl and Gladys (Ray) Piper and lived in Farmington, NM for the past 18 years, before moving to Brimfield just a few months ago.
Mr. Piper is a United States Army veteran.
At his request, services for Robert were held privately. Interment will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
