West Warren - Roberta J. Harnois, 68, of West Warren, passed away peacefully in the open arms of the Lord on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, midday, surrounded by her loving family at home, in the care of her sister, Deb.
She was born in West Warren, daughter of the late Avila J. and Bella M. (Chevrette) Harnois. She leaves her son, Jason Harnois of Southbridge; her brothers, Sonny Harnois (Jean) of FL, and Robert H. Harnois of Ware; her sisters, Janet B. Lyons of VA, Patricia Harnois-Church of VA, Pamela Ellithorpe (Ron) of Brimfield, Debra A. Harnois of West Warren, and Rose M. Campagna of Palmer; as well as many nieces and nephews, countless friends, and her beloved cat, BB. She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria Cobleigh.
Roberta's greatest and most favorite hobby was making rosaries and donating them to the churches in her area. Her faith was very important to her, and it is what strove her through her self-proclaimed "health journey." She enjoyed driving the elder bus for the Warren Senior Center, playing billiards with her friends, spending time at the beach, and even making her own furniture. She also enjoyed playing bingo, singing karaoke, and she was an avid bowler. Her family considers it a true blessing that she finished her earthly journey in the same home where she was born.
A Funeral Mass for Roberta will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 10:00am in Sacred Heart Church, 22 W Main Street in West Brookfield. Burial will be held immediately following mass in St. Paul Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Drive, Suite A, West Springfield, MA 01089, to Second Chance Animal Shelter, 372 N Main Street, North Brookfield, MA 01535, or to the Warren Senior Center, P.O. Box 428, West Warren, MA 01092.
