Roberta Howie

Ware-On February 21, 2014 Roberta courageously and peacefully passed away just shy of her 92nd birthday. Roberta was born in Pittsfield and lived in many locations within the state before settling in Ware in the 1950's. She worked for many years in the lab at Mary Lane Hospital until retiring. Her love of travel took her to Spain, Portugal, Canada and many locations in the United States. Roberta loved to make jigsaw puzzles and was never discouraged by even the most difficult of them. She also enjoyed reading and could regularly be seen at the library checking out her newest book. She was a diehard Red Sox and Patriots fan and rarely missed watching one of their games.
Roberta is survived by her brother Gerald of Ware, her nephew Randy Howie and his wife Donna of Spring Hill, FL and their children Shawn, Christopher, Justin and Mariah. A niece Linda Reddin and her husband Bill of Brockton, MA and several other nieces and nephews. She will also be forever missed by her extended family Jim, Joanne, Michael and Sean Meegan.
