Roger U. Dumas, 62
Spencer - Roger U. Dumas, 62, of Salem St., died Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
He leaves his mother, Barbara S. (Johnson) Dumas of Spencer; a sister, Elaine Chipman and her husband Prescott of North Brookfield; his close friend and caregiver, Roger Cote of Spencer; two aunts; one uncle and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester son of the late Claude U. Dumas and grew up and lived most of his life in Spencer.
Mr. Dumas was an industrial machinist who worked for several area companies.
He enjoyed playing the drums and was an excellent artist and cartoonist.
Funeral Services for Roger will be held privately. There are no calling hours and burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery in Spencer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to a charity of the donor's choice. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Mai St., West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
