Ronald ""Nick"" A. Nicoll

Brookfield - Ronald "Nick" Nicoll passed away on May 19th in El Granada, CA.
He leaves his daughters, Cheryl Gauthier of Charlton and Bonnie Burington of El Granada, CA; his son, Ronald W. Nicoll of Brookfield; his step-daughter Chrissy Braconnier of West Brookfield; sisters, Marilyn Guerrero and Maureen Marshall of CA and brother, Gordon Nicoll of Charlton. He also leaves granddaughters, a great granddaughter a great grandson and close family friends Billie Farrelly, Barbara Fletcher and Pat Jacques.
He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Irving and Barbara (Spooner) Nicoll and grew up in North Brookfield. Nick also lived several years in Brookfield and California.
Nick was in the National Guard and the Army and was an avid NASCAR fan. He worked at Quabaug Rubber in North Brookfield for 14 years, ABC Window in San Francisco, CA for 13 years and served on the Brookfield Board of Health.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2pm in the Brookfield Cemetery in Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, Inc. P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515. Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St. in West Brookfield is directing arrangements.
