RONALD E. HENRY SR.
Ware-Ronald E. Henry Sr., 73, of Ware formerly of Worcester, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2013 after a courageous one and a half year battle with leukemia.
He leaves his wife Susan, three children Ron Henry and his girlfriend Marybeth Greene of Shrewsbury, Steven Henry and his wife Kerry of Auburn and Deb Coggans and her husband Joe of Dudley, six grandchildren, Nicole and Michelle Henry, Jason and Emily Rose Henry, and Jacqueline and Haley Coggans, two brothers Ernie Henry of Worcester and Richard Henry and his wife Roberta of West Boylston, a sister Joyce Gravel and her husband Leo (Charlie) of Grafton, as well as many nephews and nieces. Ron was born in Worcester son of Ernest and Viola (Lavalley) Henry. He graduated from Commerce High School. He served in the US Air Force and was employed by J.J. Nissen Baking Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1998.
Ron enjoyed being with his family, whether for holidays, birthdays, or football parties. One of his favorite pastimes was sipping red wine with his wife Susan. He was an avid sports fan and loved the New York Yankees. Some of his interests were horse racing, yard work, and tending his garden. He will sadly be missed by family and friends.
