Samuel R. Puliafico

March 27, 1916 — December 4, 2014

Ware-Samuel  R. Puliafico, 98, passed away on Thursday Dec. 4th  in West Brookfield. He leaves his wife Marie Puliafico, his sons Louis of Moreno Valley CA, and Vincent of Plattsburg NY, his daughters Cecile Phaneuf of  Spencer, Rosalie Rymarski of Ware and Frances Hawley, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, as well as many nephews and nieces. He was born in Barre and was a long time Ware resident. A US Army veteran of World War II, he was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds received in the Battle of Anzio. Sam  established Ware Tool and Grinding Co. in 1955 and operated the business until retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Divot Diggers, and was a life member of the VFW  and  Quaboag Chapter #59 DAV. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday Dec. 7th from 1 to 3 pm. At the Charbonneau Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday at 3pm. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Quaboag Chapter DAV, c/o 54 Eagle St. Ware Ma 01082 or to All Saints Church, 17 North St. Ware Ma. 01082.
