Sarah Jean Whalley
1985-2024
Ware, MA
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we, Sarah J. Whalley’s family, announce her untimely and unexpected passing on December 23, 2024 in Hartford Hospital, surrounded by family. Sarah was born in Marylane Hospital, Ware, MA on January 27, 1985, to her parents Jack E. Whalley and Denise J. Robert. Sarah was born and raised in Ware, MA and attended Ware Schools. Sarah loved nature, collecting rocks, being out with friends, camping, campfires, hiking. She had many friends, and nothing made her happier than getting together with them on the spur of the moment to do anything. They were all up for it. When they were together it was laughter until their cheeks hurt. Stories, memories being shared, it was all good. They would all tell you about Sarah’s beautiful smile, great stories and contagious laugh. And no matter how long it might have been since they’d seen each other last….they would pick right back up like it was yesterday. Sarah always worked, and was a hard worker. She worked at Friendly’s, Krazy Jake’s restaurant, and Blue Sky Behavioral Health, and did many other things. A people person and empathetic, she was always ready to step in and lend a hand where she saw a need. Which always bore out the kind and gentle heart she had, never judging anyone. She made friends easily, and when you were her friend there was none more loyal. Always giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and generosity of her friendship. Sarah loved life and being out in nature. Sarah adored her children; they were the joy of her life. A daughter, Hadleigh, and son, Kymani.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Hadleigh, her son, Kymani, and her children’s father Kyle Auffrey. Also, by her mother Denise J. Robert, her father Jack E. and his wife Tammy Whalley, her sister Rebecca and her husband Kevin Kessler and her niece Ellie Kessler, her paternal grandmother Sandra J. Klem, her step sister and brother Kelly and Paul Wheeler. And numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of dear friends.
Sarah was predeceased in death by her maternal grandparents, Bernard and Lea Roberts, her paternal grandfather Thomas H. Whalley Sr. and Harold T. Klem.
