Shane M Douglas

August 18, 2003 — June 26, 2022

West Brookfield- Shane Michael Douglas of West Brookfield left this world unexpectedly on June 26th, 2022 at the age of 18.

He will be forever mourned by his loving parents, Jason and Ana Marie (Locke) Douglas. Shane is also survived by his three younger brothers, Bryce, Riley and Davin. He is survived by his grandmothers Susan Douglas of Warren and Donna Locke of Spencer. He will be greatly missed by his best friend Christopher Butler, his aunts, uncles, many, many cousins, countless friends and his devoted girlfriend Ella Sheldon. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, "Papa" David Douglas Sr. and "Pepe" Richard Locke.

Shane was not one to stay in one place and he was an avid lover of sports. He was admired for his athleticism and participation of basketball, baseball, track and football, in which Shane proudly wore the number 21 jersey as he played left guard and defensive end for Quaboag Regional School and the towns of Warren and West Brookfield. Even when he wasn't playing football or going to the gym, Shane was riding the slopes in places like Wachusett and Cannon Mountain with his brothers on his snowboard.
His smile was infectious, he could make anyone laugh with his sweet loving ways or his class clown humor. Shane also proudly graduated Quaboag Regional School in (2021) and had proudly joined his father working full time as a fill room attendant at Ivey Industries.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 1st, 2022 from 4pm-7pm at Varnum Funeral Home, Inc, 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Quaboag Athletic Department.
