Shirley Agnes Brunell

Ware - Shirley Agnes (Trumble) Brunell, 96, of Ware, died on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
She leaves her son, James S. Brunell of Belchertown and his wife Deborah; two grandchildren, Jason S. and Jillian Brunell as well as a great-granddaughter, Ashlynn. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, George A. Brunell in 1996 as well as her sister, Doris M. Jones. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Leroy and Florence (Frew) Trumble, and was a life-long resident of the town.
Shirley graduated from Ware High School and then went on to earn her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed working with the staff and helping patients at both Mary Lane Hospital in Ware and Wing Hospital in Palmer.
She was a long-time member of All Saint's Church in Ware where she served as a communicant for several years.
At her family's request, funeral services for Shirley will be held privately.
