Ware - Steven M. Auclair, 64, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home in Ware.
He leaves his wife, Michelle (Daigle) Auclair, two sons, Jeremiah Auclair and his wife Marie of Monson and, Joshua Auclair and his wife Melissa of Ludlow; his step-son, Daniel Daigle of Ware; his step-daughter, Jennifer DiRuzza and her husband Eric of Burlington; four grandchildren, Ashlee, Meghan, Shelbey, and Emilee Auclair; his brother, Michael Auclair of Ludlow, and his sister Kathy Fonner and her husband Donald of Holland. He was born in Ludlow, son of the late Robert and Louise Auclair.
Steven worked as a machinist at Smith & Wesson Corp. for 43 years, and more recently at Interger before just retiring earlier this month.
Steven was a loving and devoted husband, whom Michelle described as being her best friend. He enjoyed classic cars, and recently finished restoring a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass which he would take to local car shows. He also enjoyed his time spent both deep sea and freshwater fishing, as well as vacationing in the Carribean.
Calling hours for Steven will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 5 to 7PM in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Anne-Marie Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 56, Barre, MA 01005.
