West Brookfield - Steven E. Betterton, 61, of West Brookfield, died on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center.
He leaves his wife of 35 years, Lynne T. Betterton, his son, Steven G. Betterton, and his daughter, Alyssa Betterton. He also leaves his brothers, Chuck Betterton and his wife Becky of Granby, CT, and Rick Betterton of Granby, MA; his nieces and nephews, Emily M. and Daniel C. Betterton both of Granby, CT, and Richard M. Betterton and his wife Lori Beth of Granby, MA, as well as his great-niece Isabella. He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, son of the late Gilbert F. and Marion (Denesha) Betterton.
Steve worked as a supervisor in commercial construction for several years prior to retiring due to illness. He enjoyed staying busy, and would work around his home and yard in his free time whenever he could.
At his request, services for Steve will be held privately.
