Sylvia A. (Moulton) Rys, passed away on Friday Nov. 14, 2014. She was born in Ware daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Terrien) Moulton on July 8, 1926. She leaves her children, David Rys and his wife Mary of Henry IL, and Marcia McFadden and her husband David in Georgia, her grandchildren Eric and Tim Maack, Peter Gagne, Holly Fairchild and Michael Bentley, 8 great grandchildren, a brother Charles Moulton of Ware, her best friend Peg Moulton of Ware, as well as many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her daughter Janice Gagne and by her brother Herbert Moulton. She was employed for many years along with Peg at the Ware Shoe Co., until leaving to raise her family. She later returned to work for her brother Charles at the Moulton Insurance Agency, retiring in 1988. She was a lifelong communicant of All Saints Church, where she sang in the choir, and was also a member of the Ware Golden Age Club. She was devoted to all of her family, especially her grand and great-grand children. After her retirement, she traveled extensively, often with her cousin Joan Paquet. Her dream trip was fulfilled when she went to Rome and saw the Pope at the Vatican. Funeral Services will be held on Friday Nov. 14th from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. with a Mass at 11am in All Saints Church. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 9 to 10:30 am. A luncheon at Teresa's Restaurant will follow the services.
