Brookfield – Thomas Osswald Green, 74, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 31, 1950, in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Tom was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished the time spent with his family. In 1981, he founded Colonial Restorations, a company that grew through his hard work and dedication into a trusted name in the field. Tom found great joy in supporting his children’s and grandchildren’s athletic pursuits, rarely missing a game or event. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, he spent many happy days hiking and camping with his wife Kathleen and their family. A proud Eagle Scout, Tom remained active in scouting throughout his life, mentoring not only his son Brad but also his grandson Colby, passing down the values of service, leadership, and a love of nature. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Green; his children Brad Green and his wife Kristen, and Amy Green as well as his grandchildren Colby Green, Jackson Green Cayer, and Alexander Green. His quiet strength, steady guidance, and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
