Warren - Thomas S. Schoenfeldt, 79, of Warren, died on Monday, February 24th, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his beloved wife of 60 years, Louise (Hesse) Schoenfeldt. He also leaves his son Dennis Schoenfeldt and wife Nicole of Concord, North Carolina and his daughter, Jean Carlson and her husband Gregory of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his four beloved grandchildren, Alex Carlson, Cooper Carlson, Kenny Schoenfeldt and Casey Schoenfeldt and his partner Christina, parents to Tom’s great-grandchild, George Schoenfeldt. He was predeceased by his brother Jeffery Schoenfeldt. Tom was born in Springfield, to the late Alfred and Muriel (Scott) Schoenfeldt.

Tom graduated from Springfield Technical High School. He worked at American Bosch Corporation as an inspector, as well as at Lenard’s Garage. He then began his career with New England Door Closure, installing commercial and residential door closures for 50 years.

He was passionate about cars and spent much of his free time rebuilding them from the frame up - some of his favorites being a Shelby Cobra, a 64’ Corvette, a 63’ Ford Falcon and an English Griffith. He loved racing cars, crewing for dirt track teams and attending races with family and friends at Lebanon Valley Speedway, Saratoga Speedway and Watkins Glen in New York, Stafford Motor Speedway and Lime Rock Park in Connecticut, and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
