Bondsville - Valbert E. Vadnais, 59, of Bondsville, MA, passed away on Saturday, February 4th surrounded by his family. He was born in Springfield, MA on June 12, 1957 to the late George H. Sr. and Dafrose (Vadnais) Vadnais. Valbert was a graduate of the Ware High School. He worked in construction for the Rich & Gardner Company in Syracuse, NY for 18 years. Valbert enjoyed spending time with his family at their lake house rental where he could be found waterskiing, kayaking, and joking around with his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Valbert is survived by his seven siblings: Donald and his wife, Judie; Pierre and his wife, Cheryl, both of Ware; Anna of Shutesbury; Joanne Johnson and her husband, Francis of Wheelwright; Phillip and his wife, Barbara of Hubbardston; George H. Jr. and his wife, Diane and Gregory and his partner, Dianne both of Palmer. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, their spouses, and children, and his former wife, Nancy Toledo-Salgado of Puerto Rico. Valbert was predeceased by his brother, Louis.
His loving spirit will be celebrated on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the United Church of Ware, 49 Church St. in Ware. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9 to 11AM in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to Baystate Visiting Nurse and Hospice Association, P.O. Box 9058, Springfield, MA 01102. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. in Ware is assisting his family with arrangements.
