Ware---Walter "Lard" Boronski, of Belchertown Rd., passed away on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 at Palmer House. Born in Ware on December 29, 1923 , he was the son of Stanislaw and Helena (Koczur) Boronski. Walter was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, and attended Ware High School. Walter worked at the Quabbin Resevoir for many years. Working at the Quabbin and on the family farm were two things he cherished. He was married to Claire (Labier) Schroder. He leaves his four children, Walter, Mark, Andrea (McBride) and Tom, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17th at 11am in Quabbin Park Cemetery. Charbonneau Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
