West Brookfield - Wanda M. Brooks, 92, of West Brookfield, passed away peacefully at home, in the early morning hours of January 1, 2023.
She leaves her two sons, Ken and Mark; daughter's-in-law, Lori and Doreen; four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; her brother Ed, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bob in 1994, four brothers, three sisters and her grandson, Jesse, in 2021. She was born in Warren, the daughter of the late Adam and Agnes (Wegiel) Wozniak.
She worked for Klevin's Shoes, American Optical Company, and as a home health aide, as well as taking care of her family. She loved bingo, cards, reading, knitting, and crocheting hats for the Kaitlyn Langlois Foundation. She loved vacationing in Florida and camping trips with her family. She enjoyed living at West Brookfield Housing for twenty-eight years. She will rest in peace with her husband Bob.
A Calling Hour will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 10 to 11AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield. A Graveside Service will follow at the Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
