Wayne A. Kennen, 65
Warren - Wayne A. Kennen, 65, of Bemis Rd., died Thursday May 21, 2015 at his home in Warren.
He leaves his loving wife of 37 years, Joanne M. (Wyngowski) Kennen; three daughters, Sarah, Rachel and Rebecca Kennen; his mother, Ruth (Latendresse) Kennen of Auburn; one brother, James Kennen and his wife Vy of Quincy; three sisters, Joy LeClair and her husband Steve of Sutton, Jill Mayo and her husband Kevin of Enfield, CT and June Blair and her husband Scott of Hingham; six grandchildren, Aaron, Evan, Isaac, Liam, Maeve and Declan and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Arthur Kennen and grew up and lived in Auburn for 27 years before moving to Warren 38 years ago. He graduated from Auburn High School and Worcester Institute of Technology.
Mr. Kennen worked for General Dynamics Electric Boat in Connecticut for 25 year as a mechanical engineer.
Joanne and the girls would like to thank his siblings Jill and James for donating kidneys to Wayne and adding 30 years to his life.
A Funeral Mass for Wayne will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM in St. Anne's Church in Sturbridge. Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be in St. Anne's cemetery in Sturbridge.
